PRINCIPLED, PROVEN, PREPARED

BECKY IS A PROVEN LEADER

Becky moved to Kingman from Florida in 1970 and raised her family here. She served on the Board of Supervisors from 1984 to 1992 in the original District 5.

She relocated to Las Vegas, NV in 1997 where she worked as a Court Clerk for 20 years.  Becky performed volunteer work and contributed to the Las Vegas community in many ways such as volunteering as a CASA, serving as president of her homeowner’s association board and supervising poll workers for elections.

She retired in 2017 and moved home to Kingman in 2018. After getting settled, she set about renewing old acquaintances and meeting new friends. She owned and operated a legal transcription company, Anytime Transcripts, from 2018 to 2020.  In that capacity she produced official civil and criminal trial transcripts for Nevada’s 8th Judicial District Court in Las Vegas.

Principled, Professional, Proven, Prepared

Becky doesn't look the other way when she encounters situations that need attention.  She finds solutions and enlists help from others as necessary.  She never stops until a solution is reached.  She cares about everyone and every living being.

During her tenure as a County Supervisor Becky served as Chairman (1989); Vice-Chairman (1990-1991); served on the AZ State Advisory Council on Libraries; was a member of the AZ State Advisory Council on Recycled Materials Marketing; served on the NACo Environment, Energy and Land Use Committee as well as the Transportation Committee and was an alternate delegate to the White House Conference on Libraries (1991).  Becky was a founding member of the Kingman Pregnancy Prevention Coalition which continues now as a county program that is funded by grants.  This is a testament to Becky's Vision.  As a sitting supervisor she also was a member of the Board of Equalization which heard appeals by property owners regarding property evaluations made by the Assessor.

Additionally, Becky wrote the first Mohave County vehicle use plan that was passed by the Board; obtained television reception for Meadview and other rural areas that were not previously served; redevelopment of Neal Butler Park; road improvements in the Butler area; obtained increased funding for senior programs; spearheaded the effort for recycling in County offices; proposed and saw a new library come to fruition; and supported Courthouse renovation.  The first comprehensive County general plan was adopted through Community Unity meetings that were proposed by Becky.  It was due to her vision that this was accomplished. Today, the county is required by state statute to update its plan every 10 years.

Becky doesn't NEED a job, and this is not just the next step up on the political ladder for her; she WANTS to continue working, to serve her community and wants to be your County Assessor.

She will be a FULL TIME County Assessor and will not have ANY outside special interests or masters.  Additionally, she will not combine her job as your assessor with any political position or spend one dime of your tax dollars on anything other than the duties of the Assessor.

The Assessor will set policy for the Office of Assessor and will decide “which direction the ship will sail."  It is up to the employees to keep the ship sailing on a daily basis. However, it requires a good deal of oversight by the "captain" to make sure that ship stays on course; and that there is accountability.  That is where Becky shines.  Becky is highly accountable. She will continuously review results and set a professional example for the employees.  Becky expects EXCELLENCE!

Becky also has experience as Administrative Assistant/Acting Personnel Director for Mohave County; Personnel Director for the Hualapai Tribal Council; Radio News Director; Newspaper Reporter (she interned with the AZ Republic as a college student); Private Process Server; Desktop Publisher; and Freelance Writer.  Additionally, she was a realtor® for 13 years in both AZ and NV.

  Principled, Professional, Proven, Prepared

The only qualification to be a County Assessor is to be a "qualified elector."  It is up to you to decide which candidate has the experience, abilities, skill set and personality to be your County Assessor.  Becky has the necessary education, qualifications, experience, desire, drive and energy to represent you.

Becky is proud of her two grown daughters, four granddaughters and great grandson.  Rounding out her family is an extremely spoiled rescue pup, Joey. Previously, the Foster family included two min-pins named Maggie May and Minnie Min Pin. Their passing left a huge hole in the heart and soul of the Foster family.

She views tax dollars as YOUR money.  She pledges to guard those dollars and carefully spend them wisely ONLY on county business.  She will represent you and assess your property fairly and according to law. She will NOT give preferential treatment to ANYONE. BECKY IS PASSIONATE ABOUT AND SUPPORTS THE U.S. AND ARIZONA CONSTITUTIONS.  SHE IS PARTICULARLY PASSIONATE ABOUT THE FIRST AND SECOND AMENDMENTS.  SHE IS A PROUD AND REPSONSIBLE GUN OWNER.  ADDITIONALLY, SHE WILL DEFEND ANYONE'S RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SHE AGREES WITH IT.

UNFORTUNATELY, BECKY'S OPPONENT, ACTING AS COUNTY CHAIR OF THE GOP, HAS DENIED FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS TO OTHERS. GOING AS FAR AS FILING A BOGUS WORKPLACE HARRASSMENT CLAIM WITH THE JUSTICE COURT IN KINGMAN AGAINST THREE LOYAL REPUBLICAN WOMEN WHO DISAGREED WITH HER. USING "LAWFARE" ON YOUR OWN PRECINCT COMMITTEEMEN BECAUSE YOUR EGO IS BRUISED IS SHAMEFUL

THIS TYPE OF CHARACTER FLAW DOES NOT STOP IN PRIVATE LIFE -- IT CARRIES OVER TO ANY

PUBLIC POSITIONS HELD BY THE PERSON EXHIBITING THE FLAW.

FORTUNATELY, THOSE ORDERS WERE REVERSED IN MOHAVE COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT.  BOTH SHE, NATIONAL COMMITTEEMAN, TED BOYD AND OTHERS HAVE STATED YOU DO NOT HAVE FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS AS A PC (PRECINCT COMMITTEEMAN) BECAUSE THE GOP IS A "PRIVATE CLUB."

BECKY HOLDS THE OPINION THAT YOU DO NOT GIVE UP YOUR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS WHEN YOU BECOME A PC.  ACTUALLY, YOUR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS ARE GOD GIVEN AND THEY APPLY IN ANY SITUATION. (OTHER THAN TRUE HATE SPEECH.)

"FREE SPEECH IS NOT ALWAYS PRETTY, ELOQUENT OR POLITICALLY CORRECT BUT IT MUST BE PROTECTED."  -- Becky Foster
